The 2020 Showcase

The Northern Stallion Showcase was first held in 2014 and now into its sixth year, is one of the largest events of its kind in the region.

For 2020, visitors can once again expect a large number of stallions to be showcased, representing different breeds, types and bloodlines, all brought to life with expert, professional commentary. There will also be ample opportunity to visit the stallions in their stables and watch them in the warm up arena. The horsebox parking area is not open to the public.

On-site catering will be open all day serving hot and cold drinks and food and there are toilet facilities on site.

Admission to the Northern Stallion Showcase is by individual entry ticket, which is in the form of a security wristband, which must be worn at all times. Stewards have been briefed to charge an admission fee to anyone not wearing a wristband. Wristbands will give access to the indoor Showcase Arena, the stables areas and the outdoor warm up arena.

Entry will include car parking, and a copy of the Northern Stallion Showcase Guide containing information about the stallion entered. Discounted Advance Tickets (£4.00 per person) are available only until Monday, March 30th, after which the price will be £5.00. Entry tickets (wristbands) will be available for purchase on the day, costing £5.00 per person. No concessions are available, but children under the age of 8 will be admitted free.

Advance tickets can be purchased securely online from theequinestore.co.uk when they are printed.

Health & Safety

We do hope that you enjoy your day, but would like to remind all visitors that stallions should be treated with commonsense and respect at all times, so please do take notice of signs and stewards and use the pedestrian walkways at all times.
